Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on the 1st of October, 1995, in Berkeley, California, USA. She is most famous as an actress appearing in Choices (2011), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004), and Chrissie Mair's Content House.

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family that comprises directors and actors pursued both professions. At the age of nine the actress was first seen in her debut film Sergio Cittis Sogni e bisogni. She played the leading role in Cristina Comencini's Zoo (1988) and appeared as a part of Michele Savi's 1989 movie The Church. Red Wood Pigeon, directed by Moretti in 1989, featured her character as Nanni Moretti's daughter. Close Friends (1992), directed and written by Michele Placido was the film that really launched Asia's professional path. Asia was able to transition between roles for young girls to complex and mature roles. Cannes International Film Festival was a huge achievement for the film. Trauma (1996) and The Stendhal Sydrome are the others she's collaborated on with her renowned father. The Phantom of the Opera is the third film she's co-produced with her father, the previous two being Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. Asia's deeply absorbed and aggressive style of acting was well-used in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a Nozze in 1993. was a co-star in the film Perdiamoci di vista in which she portrayed Arianna a physically handicapped girl. It was a complex, challenging character that earned her the David di Donatello for best actress . Patrice Chereau was her director in Queen Margot in which she was the main character. In 1995 Asia worked with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion, for which she received a prize from David di Donatello. Asia began her career in 1994 as a director when she made two short films: Prospettive (1996), documentary about her father, and Abel/Asia (1998) Abel/Asia, a feature about cult filmmaker Abel Ferrara. The latter received an award from the Rome Film Festival. Asia made her debut as a director of feature in Scarlet Diva (2000). In this film, she also starred and authored the screenplay. It was released on May 20, 2000, in Italy and all over the world. The film was awarded an award at the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York. Anna Lou was her first born child in the year 2001. After the directing of several music videos, she got Anna Lou. In 2002 Asia appeared on The Red Siren with Jean Marc Barr, and Rob Cohen's Action thrille directed with Vin Diesel. Asia also has a collection of stories that were published in top magazines.
